Astronomy Day is April 21st, and we've got a couple cool things going on.

Dono & Dono is one of our favorite brands. It's high-quality, great for kids with allergies (It also features a removable down alternative toddler pillow that is infused with silver, which is known for its antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties), and folds up really easily so that you can bring with you wherever you need. It's perfect for overnights or naps, or even for daycare.

(Here's a really good article on just how important naps are for your little humans. And honestly, we need them to nap so we can catch up on laundry, shower, or watch a TV show that doesn't involve small dogs fighting fires.)

Look at that incredible pattern! The pieces detach for easy washing, it's airy to prevent overheating, and it's made with really high quality material so you never have to worry about what your little is sleeping with.

This is so cute, it's sure to make nap time easier. Your kids will probably want to sleep with it all the time.

You can also see an absolutely adorable pillowcase featuring Dylan the Dinosaur in a really cute rocket ship that is definitely going to be a new best friend for your kids!

And of course we have a recipe for you: Frozen yogurt swirl treats!

What you'll need:

  • Vanilla greek yogurt
  • Black, blue, purple food coloring
  • Blueberries

How to make them:

  • Put yogurt in a bowl. Put a couple of drips of each color of food coloring into the yogurt.
  • Stir, but not too much. (Using a straw or popsicle stick works well.) The colors should look swirly, like this:
  • Put yogurt into freezer trays (ours are great for this because they stack so well in the freezer!). Drop blueberries in each one (like they're little planets), replace lids, and stack in freezer for 2-3 hours (or until completely frozen)

And of course you'll need some activities to do while you're waiting for your treats to freeze, so check out this site full of awesome and fun ideas!
