It’s good thick steel, with a plastic lid that snaps on. Fingers crossed that the snap on lid parts don’t fall off after a year – though I’ve learnt hand washing helps them last longer. The metal divider is snug fit, and holds its place, very helpful to keep the mozzie sticks and carrot fingers from getting all mixed up. My son loves it, it’s a quick 30 sec wash every night and ready for school the next day. Will definitely buy another, the size and portion is perfect for small stomachs. Recommended.

This is a great size for bringing lunch or snacks to-go in my daughters diaper bag. I love that the pieces are removable to help with washing! The only thing I do not love is that the divider does not fully separate the compartments; there is a small gap underneath, which means you cannot have any items with liquid content or they will spill to the "dry" side. Otherwise, it is a great piece to add to our feeding collection!

We got this for my son to take lunch. This is really the best one we have got so far. It is made with good quality materials, never leaks, easy to clean and still shining after some usage. Really like the design of small compartments to hold small portion of snacks etc. The plastic cover might be hard to clean if you put greasy stuff in, but just use the plastic wrap to cover it.

Comes in 4 pieces: the lid, the insert which is stainless steel, the container that the insert sits in and a stainless steel food divider. The box seals nicely and measure 8 by 6 inches. You can remove the inside insert or adjust based on two guides preset inside the stainless steel insert. The reason I gave 2 stars is that it is not kid safe. The divider has a very sharp edge and if pulled out can easily cut someone. The other issue is that the insert divider will only separate food. Anything liquid will run underneath to the other compartment. I would recommend removing the metal insert divider if a child is using. See attached video.

I bought this for my elementary school kid. It's leak proof as I have tested by filling up with water. It fits a regular adult-sized sandwich and maybe a few grapes, but you need to remove the stainless steel divide. Alternatively, you can fit a small sandwich with more room for some fruits or vegetables. The stainless steel divide actually fits really tight, which I think is a good thing if you want to separate dry food from fruits or sauce.

It can be easily closed with snap fit lid. It’s easy to clean abd wash. It has a good portion size. There is a divider which can be removed if needed.

I've ordered quite a few bento boxes over the years. We quite enjoy having them for lunches at work, and snack boxes while traveling. This is very well made, compact, and I am always partial to the stainless steel interiors. I used it yesterday for work and received a few compliments on the fit and finish.

I washed as soon as I received, it was very easy to clean and wiped dry. I added half a sandwich and some chopped fruit for my kid's lunch for tomorrow. It fit perfectly and sealed very good, does not leak. I wouldn't put anything with juices in any of these containers because they will get to the other side of the compartment. If you have salad dressing use a small container for it. You can also remove the metal part and use the plastic one if you want. I'm very happy that it fit his lunch box and he now he has a durable lunch container. This was used for a preschool kid.

I like that this is stainless steel because I'm trying to lessen the amount of microplastics my child is exposed to. This is fairly lightweight that's in our lunch bag cooler bag.

Regular household use, no babying the box.Price remains the same since 2019, $12.99 each.I bought 2 green lid ones had had used them since 2019. Washed them in dishwasher all the time because oil gets off better. I did not see any molding and staining on the lid edge, lid still air tight and plastic did not get brittle after being washed in hot water for 2 years. So I bought other colors too for snacks.I had pic side by side (of a brand new one) for you to compare. You will see normal wear and tear, scratches on plastic and the stainless still less shinny. But after 2 years of regular use it remains in very good condition. A bit pricy for snack box with now I see it is totally worth it for the quality and safety.
